Can a Kitchenaid Knife Set Deliver on Quality?
The KitchenAid brand is a division of the Whirlpool Corporation, which markets many styles of large and small appliances, food preparation and ventilation products in addition to other culinary essentials. And honestly, what respectable cooking equipment brand does not provide cutlery as part of its culinary essentials? Consequently, customers are presented with the KitchenAid knife set that promises chopping, dicing and slicing with flair. A great specific set to consider is the Kitchenaid 14 Piece Cutlery Set With Steak Knife Block.
Product Features
According to their website, KitchenAid cutlery is separated into four series: Professional Series, Professional Series Stainless Steel, Cook’s Series and Carousel Sets. The shared characteristics of all KitchenAid knives are apparently the contoured handles for a solid grip and precise cutting in addition to the high-carbon stainless steel blades which have very sharp edges.
The units of a KitchenAid knife set most often include a chef’s knife, a slicer knife, a santoku knife, a utility knife, a paring knife, steak knives, kitchen shears and sharpening steel, all of which are able to be stored in a wood storage box. The knife handles are made using two kinds of materials – rubber and stainless steel.
These knife handles can be purchased in black as well as silver, with one series in orange, which blends nicely with any kitchen theme. The wood blocks additionally display KitchenAid’s logo which means you may cook your meals in a brand-coordinated workspace if you would like to.
Advantages
A kitchen knife is usually only as efficient as its capacity to cleave through meat or vegetables, and those knives in a KitchenAid knife set aren’t going to disappoint in this area. The forged fabrication employed with the high-carbon stainless steel materials make for restaurant rated knives at a reasonable price. A nice option for you is the Kitchenaid 14 Pc Cutlery Set.
The full tang construction and the triple-riveted stocks produce almost perfect balance and weight. Why not absolutely perfect? Unfortunately, it wasn’t intended to function as well in a deli or meat market as it can in your home.
One of these knife series comes with a removable steak knife block, designed for simple table setting. For more informal meals such as a barbecue, you can just detach the block which is holding the steak knives, set it next to the other flatware and allow guests to take the knives any time they require them.
Additionally, the knives in every KitchenAid knife set are organized such that the steak knives are kept away from the food prep knives. As a result, the risks of transferring bacteria will be reduced.
With the amount of knives in each set, you can at least pretend that you know what you’re doing in a kitchen even in cases where you don’t know a paring knife from a slicer. On top of that, it does look impressive sitting on the countertop.
Disadvantages
Although this company claims that their blades are dishwasher-friendly and can withstand rust and stains, you must never bet on that assurance. Even world class knives will rust and stain as they are immersed in the superheated dishwasher chemicals for extended periods.
Additionally, the sheer variety of the specialized knives might daunt the inexperienced knife wielder. If you are one, it’s almost always better to purchase a couple of basic knives and then collect others as you decide you need them.
All things considered, the Kitchenaid 14 Piece Cutlery Set With Steak Knife Block is a sensible purchase. These are not the top performing choice in the knife industry, yet with its affordable price, good performance and good presentation, it remains a good choice for anyone who only would like to fillet a trout neatly.

Frequently Asked Questions...
CUISINART or KITCHENAID stainless steel cookware????
Which is the better brand or do you think they are pretty much the same. I have a set of Cuisinart stainless steel cookware, (the 10 pc. chefs classic series) but, I wanna know should I have gotten the Kitchenaid set? I like them both and they are both affordabley priced. I wanna do my whole kitchen with the same brand accessories. PLEASE!!! Your personal experience with either brand and why. Calphalon and All-Clad is too expensive. I just may buy a small set of the Kitchenaid too if it get even or better reviews from you guys....THANKS!!!
Answer:
I don't think it matters what brand you buy. They're tools, as long as it's the right tool for the job. I love my kitchenaid mixer, but I don't think I'd give up the cuisinart cookware if I had it.
